Short answers to common questions.

Does Ghost run on your servers?

No. Ghost runs on your PC. We host the website for accounts, billing, and download. Monitoring and Discord alerts leave from your machine.

Why did a store block me?

Stores watch traffic. Too many links or checking too aggressively can get your connection flagged. Stay under your plan’s limits and give pages a little breathing room.

Discord isn’t pinging

  1. Create a webhook in your Discord server.
  2. Paste it into Ghost and hit Test Discord ping.
  3. Confirm the test message shows up before you rely on alerts.

Is the checkout bot ready?

Yes — choose Pro + Checkout on Pricing. Live orders verified on Target, GameStop, and Nike. Dry-run / checkout path also verified on Best Buy, Premium Bandai, and Hot Topic. Still testing: Walmart, Pokémon Center, Foot Locker, Amazon, Adidas. Activate your license in Ghost to unlock the Checkout tab.

Do I need to sign in before using Checkout?

Yes. Ghost uses a saved browser profile per store. Before a live buy: fill Profile, run once with Dry run on, sign into that retailer in the Ghost browser, and finish a successful dry run (stops before Place Order — confirm size and qty). Only then turn Dry run off. Re-test after changing Wi‑Fi, clearing cookies, or switching machines. Target login does not cover Best Buy or Nike.

Where does quantity get set?

It depends on the store. Best Buy and Nike set qty on the cart (dropdown or +/− steppers). Hot Topic sets qty on the product page after size, then verifies on cart. Premium Bandai uses PDP +/− steppers (and may hit a purchase limit). Always confirm the review page matches your Buy quantity before going live.

What is Repeat purchase?

Live only (disabled during Dry run). When a store caps how many you can buy per order, Ghost re-runs checkout until your Buy quantity total is met. It starts small, steps down if blocked, then tries higher qtys after successes. Optional Max per order override. Dry run still does one checkout only.

How often does Ghost get updated?

Often. We ship new Windows builds regularly as we harden checkout from real dry runs — fixing store quirks, qty paths, and payment steps when sites change. Download the latest zip from your account when a new release is posted; that’s how the bot keeps getting stronger.

On Log in, use Forgot password and enter your email.

License says inactive

I can’t add more links

You’re at your plan’s slot or store limit. Upgrade, turn a link off, or remove one.

Do I need Python?

No. Unzip and double-click Ghost.exe. Leave the Ghost window open while it runs.

Windows says “protected your PC”

Click More info, then Run anyway. Only download Ghost from this site while logged in with an active plan.

Where is my data?

Your Ghost settings stay on your PC. Shipping and card details you enter in Ghost are not stored on our website.
